Private Skills Training

There is no faster way to improve your game than private skills training. Each session lasts one hour and is packed with specific drills to fit each athlete's individual needs. After a skill evaluation, a personalized program will be created to improve weaknesses and build on strengths. Parents and athletes may also request to focus on certain skills, and the program will be tailored exactly to your needs in each area.

Small Group Training

Taking a similar approach to private skills training, small group training places 3-6 athletes of the same skill level together. Individual skills are still the main focus, but a small group allows for competitive drills and game situations. For example, the pick and roll, high-low situations, and many other game skills can be honed in this setting. Athletes can sign up as a group or be placed by our staff based on age and skill level.

Shooting / Dribbling Classes

Shooting Classes

Players who make the most shots, have the most fun!

Court Vision's shooting program breaks the art of shooting a basketball down to the basics and is offered in three unique levels. Each level is made up of 1.5-hour sessions each one week apart. This gives students the opportunity to practice their new skills before the next class.

Level I - Shooters are taught the fundamentals of shooting, including stance, proper hand positioning, the shooting pocket and release point, proper footwork, and the timing and rhythm needed to become a great shooter.
Level II - Students will master the jump shot and shooting on the move. A jump shot is an absolute necessity for boys over age 11 and girls over age 13. This level will prepare you to shoot in game situations and give you the moves and footwork needed to get and make open shots.
Level III - Shooters will master advanced moves, learn to speed up their shot, and also work from 3-point range and beyond. This level is reserved only for students who have perfected all of the techniques in Levels I and II.

All students must begin in Level I shooting. Exceptions will be made for advanced shooters at the discretion of the Court Vision staff.

Dribbling Classes

Confidently handle the ball in any situation and get past defenders with ease!

Court Vision's dribbling program was created to give players the skills needed to handle the basketball on the move, get past defenders, and the confidence to handle the ball in any situation. The program is divided into two levels and each level consists of 1-hour sessions each one week apart. This gives students the opportunity to practice their new skills before the next class.

Level I - Dribblers start with the fundamentals of stationary dribbling and progress to dribbling on the move. Proper stance, the pound dribble, ways to move the ball from hand to hand, two-ball dribbling, and hand-eye coordination will all be covered. Students will also learn the difference between closed-court and open-court dribbling moves and the proper technique for each.
Level II - Students will take the skills and moves learned in level I, and apply them to full speed, game-like situations. More advanced moves will be covered including double moves and dribblers will learn the proper way to use ball screens as well as learning to handle ball pressure and trap situations.

All students must begin in Level I dribbling. Exceptions will be made for advanced dribblers at the discretion of the Court Vision staff.

Shooting and Dribbling classes will run back-to-back and discounts are given to those attending both classes. Players who attend both classes see the fastest and most lasting improvement to their overall game.
